Howdy folks! My name is Dan Berish and I am a life long artist and woodworker.
I created Werebear Woodworks with really only one goal in mind, building things people love. I'm drawn to the idea that surrounding yourself with things that are meaningful, beautiful, and of quality make us happier.
Furniture used to be something that you would pass down for generations and create family stories and memories around. Today, we fill our homes with meaningless cheap things that break or wear down after a few years.
I use a blend of modern and traditional woodworking techniques and quality locally sourced materials to build things that stand the test of time and remain something you love for generations. I design and build everything custom and promise something unique for every client.

How much does custom furniture cost?
Long story short, custom furniture and cabinetry is almost always more expensive in the short term than similiar store bought items. But our work is designed and built for you and your space and built to last forever. That means high quality materials and craftmanship, guaranteed.
How long does a custom project take?
It largely depends on the project but can take weeks to months! I prioritize quality over speed and want to deliver the best product to my customers.
Do you work in Germantown and Collierville?
My shop is located in Collierville and I am happy to commute to the greater Memphis area for onsite work and delivery. I am also happy to ship products to anywhere in the world and will work with customers individually to get the best shipping rates possible!
Do you build from customer sketches?
I work with the customer throughout the design process to esnure we create something they love. But usually I build from plans that I generate after creating a 3D model based on a number of design meetings with the customer. In which, we discuss ideas and sketches thoroughly!
